I'm a freelance web developer and Internet marketing specialist currently residing in Rochester, NY. I pride myself on combining attractive visuals, cutting edge development techniques and Internet marketing know-how that will help you reach and exceed your goals online; and look good while doing it.
But where did it start?
Well, my love for the web started to blossom when I was 14 and my cousin was doing web development work for a local dial up ISP. He'd show me what he was doing at work and we'd go back and forth creating pages, making graphics and using the awesomely awful services that were online to make our sites pop (you know you had a an animated gif of flaming text on your site back then too).
Fast forward through a few band sites and running a hip hop message board for numerous years and I entered college at GCC. Those two short years flew by and came to an end when I received an Associates in Computer Information Systems. After that I transferred to RIT, put my nose to the grindstone (which looked an awful lot like a Bud Light can) and received a Bachelors in Information Technology graduating with honors.
I started in marketing when a successful co-op threw me head first into agency life. I learned a ton about advertising and immensely increased my development knowledge. When the economy took a downturn, I was laid off and so far it has been great for my career. I'm freelancing full time and able to provide clients with great service at lower prices than they would ever find from a traditional ad agency.
So give me a shout and see if I can help you with any of your creative endeavors.
Words from people I've worked with.
"Josh is a highly creative designer with the rare ability to combine images and words in interesting ways to convey simple, clear and visually stimulating messages which can capture audience attention. In an increasingly digital world, we need more designers like Josh who can develop a new marketing concept and execute it with style."
